To add or edit a promotion, your staff must have the “Can add and update marketing promotions and analytics” permission. For more information on configuring permissions, go to Manage Roles.
To create a new promotion that displays in web or mobile Digital Banking:
1. New Promotion
From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Promotions > New promotion.
2. Details
On the page that appears, enter the following information in the Details section:
Promotion name – Internal name for your promotion
Description (optional) – Internal description for your promotion
Web or Mobile – Choose whether this promotion should display in web or mobile banking
Select Save and continue.
3. Style and Content
In the Style and Content section, select the promotion type and configure how it will be displayed. A device preview displays on the right, which provides a general idea of how your promotion will appear.
Type – For web, select one of three promotion types—Card, Banner image, or Card image. For mobile, select one of two types—Card or Banner image. To see examples of how these promotion types display in web and mobile, go to About Promotions.
Card (web or mobile) – When you select Card, the following fields appear:
Layout – Enter the Message title, which allows a maximum of 30 characters, and the Message body, which allows 3 lines of text and will truncate automatically.
Icon – Select an icon that shows to the left of the title
Link – Enter the Link text (max 15 characters)
Custom link or In-platform link– Enter a custom external URL to direct the user (must include https:// in the URL) or select an in-platform link where the user will be directed within the Narmi platform—either Account Opening (if your institution has enabled Consumer Account Opening in Digital Banking, this will open the account opening flow in Narmi Banking) or Paperless statement enrollment (this will open the paperless statements enrollment page).
Banner image (web or mobile) – Select the Image field to upload your image. Web banner images must be 728×90 px in size. Mobile banner images must be 300×50 px in size.
Select Custom link to enter a custom external URL to direct the user (must include https:// in the URL) or select In-platform link to direct the user within the Narmi platform—either Account Opening (if your institution has enabled Consumer Account Opening in Digital Banking, this will open the account opening flow in Narmi Banking) or Paperless statement enrollment (this will open the paperless statements enrollment page).
Card image (web only) – Select the Image field to upload your image. Web card images must be 300×250 px in size.
Select Custom link to enter a custom external URL to direct the user (must include https:// in the URL) or select In-platform link to direct the user within the Narmi platform—either Account Opening (if your institution has enabled Consumer Account Opening in Digital Banking, this will open the account opening flow in Narmi Banking) or Paperless statement enrollment (this will open the paperless statements enrollment page).
Select Save and continue.
4. Target
Select the target segment for your promotion from a list of available segments from your core. To create a new segment or modify a segment, please contact your Narmi Relationship Manager. For more information on segments, go to Segmentation.
Select Save and continue.
5. Scheduling
Select the start and end date and time for your promotion. Note: The end date is required. You can end a promotion at any time, even if it is before the selected end date. Your promotion will automatically end at the specified end date, but you can manually end it before then. Go to End a Promotion for details.
Select the calendar or clock icon to use the date and time pickers. Select Save and continue.
After all sections are complete, select Save as draft if you want to finish later or select Review to continue.
6. Review
On the review page, make sure the promotion details are correct and select Confirm. Select Edit to go back and change any details.
Your new promotion will appear in the Scheduled tab until the specified start date and time.
