Customers/members can send secure messages directly from the Support hub in Narmi Banking. Your staff can manage these inquiries within Narmi Command, where they can view, reply to, and assign messages to individual staff members or teams. To handle high message volume consistently and professionally, staff can leverage Narmi AI to deliver rapid responses. To enable AI functionality, please contact your Narmi Relationship Manager.

Navigating to Messages
To access messages in Narmi Command, select Messages from the sidebar.

Message Permissions
To use Messages in Narmi Command, your staff must have the following permissions. To set permissions, from the Narmi Command sidebar, select Staff members > Roles.
Can add message – To respond to a message
Can view Thread – To open a message to view the conversation
Can change Thread – To update the message status, request type, assignee, or team in the conversation view
Can add Thread – To create a new message to a user via their user profile > “Recent messages” section > plus sign. For details, go to Recent Messages.
Can view staff assignment – To view the individual “Assignee” in the main Messages page and the conversation view of a message
Can view Team – To view the “Team” in the main Messages page and the conversation view of a message
Can view Thread Category – To view the “Request type” in the main Messages page and the conversation view of a message
Can generate support messages with ai – To be able to see the AI feature when replying to messages
