Surveys are Enabled by Default
For ease of use, a predefined Narmi Banking survey is enabled by default in release 2025.11, scheduled to run quarterly. It contains the following questions:
How likely are you to recommend us to a friend or colleague? (required)
How can we improve your experience? (optional)
To edit or end the predefined survey, follow the instructions in Manage Surveys and choose “Banking NPS Survey.”
With our Survey feature, your institution can capture essential user feedback and track your Net Promoter Score (NPS) by deploying custom pop-up surveys in Narmi Banking. Leverage this feedback to gain a deeper understanding of user satisfaction and boost retention efforts.
Key features of surveys include:
Flexible questioning – Use a standard NPS question to measure user loyalty and overall sentiment, or easily create custom questions tailored to specific institutional needs.
Time-bound deployment – Define precise start and end dates for all surveys directly within Narmi Command.
Non-intrusive experience – Users have the option to complete the survey or close the pop-up without answering; surveys are only displayed at the recurrence frequency you set.
Actionable data – Access comprehensive survey results in *.CSV format for detailed analysis and reporting.

Surveys Permissions
To use Surveys, your staff must have the following permissions:
Can view survey – To view the survey page and all the details of the surveys in the list
Can add survey – To create a new survey
Can delete survey – To archive a survey
Can change survey – To edit a survey
Create a New Survey
To create a new survey that appears in Narmi Banking or Narmi Command:
From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Configurations > Survey.

On the page that appears, in the Details section, enter a survey name. Narmi Banking is pre-selected as the Product where the survey will appear. Select Save and continue.

In the Questions section, select Add question.

Select a question type: Net promoter survey or Free-form question.
Net promoter survey – This is a predefined NPS question that measures the user's loyalty and overall sentiment toward your institution: “How likely are you to recommend us to a friend or colleague?” You can edit this text in the Question field.
Free-form question – Enter a custom question in the Question field provided. There is a limit of 128 characters for each question.
For each question, check the Required box if you would like the question to be required.
Once you add a question, you can edit or delete it by selecting the three dots > Edit question or Delete question.
Select Add question to add each additional question. Additional questions appear when the user selects Next on the first question.
Select the Scheduling section to open a form where you can add start and end dates and times for your survey. Add a frequency of when this survey should occur: One-time, Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly. Select Save and continue. If the user closes the first survey without completing it, it will reappear at the set frequency. Surveys set with “one-time” frequency will not reappear.

A confirmation appears indicating the survey was created successfully.
User Flow for Surveys
When presented with a survey pop-up in Narmi Banking, users have two options:
They can answer the question and select Submit (or choose Next for multi-question surveys). The user sees a confirmation message that their feedback was submitted.

They can choose to dismiss the survey entirely by selecting the "X".
Once a user has either completed or closed the survey, it will only reappear at the frequency you set. Surveys set with “one-time” frequency will not reappear.

Manage Surveys
You can edit surveys in “Draft” status, end surveys in “Active” status, or download the survey results for those in “Active” or “Completed” status.
To edit a survey draft:
From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Configurations > Survey > select a survey row with “Draft” status.

On the side panel that appears, select the three dots > Edit survey.

Edit the information in each section and save.
To end an active survey:
From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Configurations > Survey > select a survey row with “Active” status.

On the side panel that appears, select the three dots > End survey. The survey shows in the list as “Completed.”

To download survey results for active or completed surveys:
From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Configurations > Survey > select a survey row with “Active” or “Completed” status.

On the side panel that appears, select the three dots > Download results.

In the dialog box that appears, select a date range for the survey data. You can download up to 12 months of survey data.

Select Download. The *.CSV file automatically saves to your computer. The following data is included in the file:
