Edit Institution Settings

Article summary

There are certain settings that only the Narmi Support team can edit. For the settings that your staff has the ability to edit, there is an Edit option to the right of the setting. Only staff with the permission "Can change institution settings" can edit institution settings. 

Note: Use caution changing high risk settings, which have a warning icon next to them.

Some institution settings support Markdown. Go to Markdown Guide for assistance with basic syntax.

To edit a setting:

  1. Enter a keyword describing the feature in the Search box. For example, if you would like to edit the announcement that appears when your users log in to Digital Banking, enter "announcement."
  2. Find your setting in the search results list, and to the right of the setting, select Edit. On the page that appears, the following fields are available:
    • Description of the setting
    • Input field for the current value
    • A Note field to add any context for updates made to the setting. This note is required and will be included in the change history.
    • Option to Show/Hide change history to show/hide past updates to the setting.
  3. Update the input value and select Save Changes. A confirmation message appears and the change is added to the change history. Select View change history to see changes.
