About Product Bundles

Our Product Bundles feature allows your institution to package two complementary account-opening products, creating a combined offering with enhanced benefits for applicants. These strategic product pairings encourage customers to open multiple accounts simultaneously, increasing your share of wallet and strengthening customer relationships.

By implementing Product Bundles, your financial institution can:

  • Increase customer engagement by offering exclusive benefits for bundled products

  • Drive a higher share of wallet and establish primacy with new applicants

  • Streamline operations for certain product types (such as maturing savings accounts or CDs with linked checking accounts for depositing matured funds)

Your applicants will appreciate Product Bundles for advantages such as:

  • Unlocking special rates or terms not available with individual products

  • Accessing premium features that are exclusive to bundle holders

  • Simplifying account management with complementary product pairings

Product Bundle Conditions

The following conditions apply to Product Bundles:

  • A bundle can include only two products.

  • A bundle can include only one checking account, as only one checking account is allowed per application.

  • Once created, you cannot delete a bundle.

  • If you deactivate or delete the individual products within a bundle, the bundle will not display in the Account selection page of the account opening flow.

    • If you would like the bundle to display but not the individual products, hide the individual products in Product List Manager by changing Do you want this product to be hidden by default? to Yes.

  • If a deactivated product that was part of a bundle is reactivated, the bundle is not automatically reactivated. You must manually reactivate the bundle.

Bundle Example

Your institution could create a Product Bundle featuring a checking account paired with a Certificate of Deposit (CD). In this scenario, the individual CD product would be hidden in Product List Manager and only revealed when applicants select the bundle. This strategic approach allows your institution to promote a specific CD rate as a bonus for opening a checking account, effectively encouraging applicants to take advantage of both products in tandem.
