Personas represent a group of consumers with similar characteristics, such as age, gender, needs, experiences, behaviors, or goals. They are often based on user research and help companies tailor their products and services more effectively to meet the specific needs of different user groups, ensuring a more user-centered approach to development and marketing.

The Personas feature enables your institution to display personalized products in the Narmi Grow consumer online and staff-led flows based on specific personas. This enables targeted marketing campaigns by age and location, increases application completion rates, and boosts deposits. Your staff can create and manage multiple personas with customized settings and preferences in Narmi Command. If you would like to use Personas, please contact your Narmi Relationship Manager to enable this feature.

In the consumer online flow, persona-specific products appear after applicants enter their personal information. They can also be accessed via a persona-specific URL. Any applicants who fit the persona criteria or visit the URL you provide them will see personalized products in the Account selection page.

In the consumer staff-led flow, a banner appears to notify staff that the applicant meets a specific persona criterion. The persona-specific URL is not available for staff-led personas.

Persona Permissions

To enable Personas at your institution, please contact your Narmi Relationship Manager. To use Personas, your staff must have the following permissions:

  • Can add persona – To add a new persona

  • Can change persona – To edit, deactivate, or reactivate an existing persona

  • Can delete persona – To make a persona inactive

  • Can view persona – To view personas

To set permissions, from the Narmi Command sidebar, select Staff members > Roles.

Navigate to Personas

To access Personas, from the Narmi Command sidebar, select Account opening > Personas. The page opens to the Online tab, showing your institution's personas for online account opening. The Staff-led tab contains personas for staff-led account opening. Active personas display in the Active section at the top, followed by Inactive personas.  Within the Active and Inactive sections, personas are listed in chronological order from the oldest to the newest creation date.
