Deposit a Check Remotely

Remote deposits can be made to Checking, Savings, and Money Market account types. Before depositing a check, read these tips to prevent remote deposit capture (RDC) issues. When preparing the check, make sure to sign the back of the check and add "for mobile deposit only."

To deposit a check remotely using the mobile app:

  1. Select Deposit on the bottom navigation bar.

    Confirmable Messages

At this point, if any errors are found from Ensenta (such as signature not detected or date invalid), a message appears asking the user to correct the image and confirm. These messages are configured via Ensenta. Please get in touch with your Narmi Relationship Manager to configure.
When the error appears, users select the front and/or back photo to retake, then select Confirm.

  8. Once the check is deposited, a deposit receipt appears. The Expected availability date only shows if your institution has hold days configured via the segment setting features.hold_days.rdc_hold_days or the institution setting Mobile Check Deposit Hold Days. If your institution has set an RDC Cutoff Time in addition to hold days, we add one business day to the expected availability date. Note: Contact your Narmi Relationship Manager to update the customer-facing help text under Expected availability. For more information on remote deposit settings and custom text, go to Remote Deposit Settings.
Select Done to return to the home screen or select Make another deposit to deposit another check. For subsequent deposits, the Deposit to field will automatically default to the account selected for the previous deposit.
