This action updates the user's email address in Digital Banking with the value from your institution's core banking system. Since a password reset email can be sent to this address, changing the email allows a user with the new email to access the account. After performing the Update Email action, both the Email and Email on core fields in the user profile sidebar will display the user's current email address from the core. If the user later updates their email address in their Digital Banking Profile Settings, these fields update to reflect the user's changes.
Warning: This is a high-risk action and only applies to certain cores.
To update the user's email address:
From the Admin Platform sidebar, select Customers/Members.
From the user list, select a user's name to open their profile.
From the Actions menu, select Update email.
A confirmation message appears. Select Yes, update email to proceed.
