If your financial institution requires two-factor authentication, upon logging in to Digital Banking, users are required to verify their identity. They can select Remember this device on the verification page to bypass the verification step on logins for the next 30 days.
Note: The user must select Remember this device if they want the link another profile option to switch between multiple accounts. (The Link another profile option is only available if your institution has two-factor authentication enabled.)
The device will be remembered until the user selects Forget this device in the name menu on the upper right. Upon selecting Forget this device, the user is automatically logged out.
Note: If the user has linked profiles, those will be unlinked once they select Forget this device.
Logout
Narmi treats logging out as fully clearing the session. When a user selects Logout from the name menu on the upper right, it is the same as selecting Forget this device.
The mobile app session stays active as long as users interact with the app.
On the web app, after 10 minutes of no usage, a prompt appears indicating the user has been inactive. From 10 minutes to 15 minutes, the user has the option to select Continue to stay logged in.
- Upon logout, if Remember this Device was checked, at 15 minutes, only the user's password is required to open their session. They do not need to verify with two-factor authentication for the next 30 days.
- Upon logout, if Remember this Device was not checked, the user is fully logged out at 15 minutes. To use Digital Banking, the user must re-enter their credentials and verify with two-factor authentication.
