Narmi Banking integrates with Atomic and Pinwheel for direct deposit. Narmi Grow only integrates with Pinwheel for direct deposit.
Direct deposit in Narmi Banking and Narmi Grow is a secure and convenient way for your consumer users to automatically receive payments, such as their salary, tax refunds, or government benefits, directly into their accounts. By setting up direct deposit, they’ll have immediate access to their funds on payday, eliminating the need to visit the bank. For your institution, direct deposit reduces administrative costs, enhances security, and increases customer satisfaction and primacy.
Consumer users have two options for direct deposit in Narmi Banking: automated and manual.
Automated – Narmi Banking integrates with Pinwheel or Atomic for automated direct deposit. These third-party vendors provide infrastructure that connects financial institutions and other businesses to consumer payroll data. Users grant Pinwheel or Atomic permission to connect directly to their payroll platform, enabling automatic updates to their direct deposit information without leaving the banking app.
Manual – Users can copy their onscreen account number and routing number to manually update their payroll portal, or elect to download a pre-filled direct deposit form to submit to their employer.
Go to Narmi Banking Direct Deposit User Flow to see the process.
Direct deposit in Narmi Grow is available for financial institutions using Narmi Grow only (without Narmi Banking). New account holders can securely switch their primary income source as soon as they open an account. Powered by our partner Pinwheel, this feature enables new customers to set up direct deposit directly from the approval screen of the Narmi Grow flow. Go to Narmi Grow Direct Deposit User Flow to see the process.
