Many mobile operating systems, such as iOS and Android, allow users to adjust font sizes through system settings. Mobile apps can be designed to respect these preferences to enhance accessibility for users with visual impairments. This is done via font scaling—adjusting the font size in a digital interface to improve readability and ensure that text displays appropriately across different devices and display sizes. We use CSS units compatible with device font size preferences, so the text in our mobile interface scales proportionately to the user's selected font size.
Customers and members can easily change the font size on their mobile devices using the following instructions.
Note: Making the text too large might make it hard to tap buttons or other functions within apps. If this occurs, go back to your settings and adjust the font size as needed.
Change the Font Size on iOS Devices
To change the font size on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch:
On your device, go to Settings > Display & Brightness, then select Text Size.
Drag the slider to select your preferred font size.
To make the font even bigger:
On your device, go to Settings > Accessibility, then select Display & Text Size.
Tap Larger Text for larger font options.
Drag the slider to select your preferred font size.
Change the Font Size on Android Devices
