Recipients

Users can easily manage their transfer recipients from their web app Settings. Users can add or delete payees for Bill Pay transfers and members/friends for Member to Member transfers. Users can add, edit, or delete recipients for ACH payments and wire transfers. For instructions on managing recipients from the mobile app, go to My Accounts Mobile Settings.

To manage recipients on the web app, from the name menu, select Settings, and then select the Recipients tab.

Payees (Bill Pay Recipients)

Note: Users can add or delete Bill Pay recipients in Narmi Banking but must edit Bill Pay recipients through the iPay application.

To add a payee to save for future Bill Pay transfers:

  1. On the web app, select the name menu > Settings > Recipients.

  2. In the Payees section, select Add a new payee.

  3. In the dialog that appears, select the Payee type, either Business or Personal.

    • For business payees, enter the payee's information and select Add payee.
      Note: Make sure to enter the correct merchant account number and zip code. Incorrect entries will result in payment by physical check.

    • For personal payees, in addition to entering the payee's information, a secret phrase is required. After entering the payee's information and secret phrase, select Add payee. After sending the payment, share the secret phrase with the payee. The payee must enter this phrase to receive payment.

To delete a payee:

  1. On the payee you would like to delete, select the three dots, and then select Delete.

  2. A confirmation dialog appears. Select Yes, delete.

Members

To add a member/friend to save for future member/friend transfers:

  1. On the web app, select the name menu > Settings > Recipients.

  2. In the Members section, select Add a new member.

  3. Enter the new member's information, then select Add member.
    Note: To add a business as a member recipient, go to Member to Member Businesses.

To delete a member: 

  1.  Select the trash can icon for the member you would like to delete.

  2. A confirmation dialog appears. Select Yes, delete.

Consumer Wire Recipients

Consumer users can manage recipients for wire transfers in the Wire recipients section.

  1. On the web app, select the name menu > Settings > Recipients.

  2. In the Wire recipients section, select Add a new wire recipient.

  3. Enter the wire recipient's information, then select Add recipient.

To edit a wire recipient: 

  1. On the wire recipient you would like to edit, select the three dots, and then select Edit.

  2. Edit your wire recipient information and select Save changes.

To delete a wire recipient:

  1. On the wire recipient you would like to delete, select the three dots, and then select Delete.

  2. A confirmation dialog appears. Select Yes, delete.

Business Wire and ACH Payment Recipients

Business users can manage or wire transfer or ACH payment recipients in the Recipients section.

To add a recipient to save for future wires or payments:

  1. On the web app, select the name menu > Settings > Recipients.

  2. In the Recipients section, select Add a new recipient.

  3. In the side panel that appears, select whether the recipient is a Person or Business, and enter the Recipient name and optional internal-only Nickname. Select Save.

  4. For ACH recipients, under ACH, enter the ACH Account number, Routing number, and Account type (Personal savings, Personal checking, Business savings, or Business checking). If this is a wire-only recipient, leave this section blank. Select Save.

  5. For wire recipients, under Wire, enter the Account number, Routing number, and street address. Select Use ACH details to auto-populate the Account number and Routing number with the recipient’s ACH account information entered above. If this is an ACH-only recipient, leave this section blank. Select Save.

  6. Select Done.

To edit a recipient:

  1. On the recipient you would like to edit, select the three dots, and then select Edit.

  2. Edit your recipient information, select Save in each section you edit, then select Done.

To delete a recipient:

  1. On the recipient you would like to delete, select the three dots, and then select Delete.

  2. A confirmation dialog appears. Select Yes, delete.
