Pinwheel is a fintech company that provides an API platform connecting financial institutions and other businesses to consumer payroll data. Through the Pinwheel integration, users can grant Pinwheel permission to connect directly to their payroll platform, enabling automatic updates to their direct deposit information without leaving the banking app.
Pinwheel and Narmi
Both Narmi Banking and Narmi Grow integrate with Pinwheel to support direct deposit for consumer users.
Narmi Banking – Pinwheel powers the automated direct deposit flow, allowing users to connect to their payroll platform directly within the banking app.
Narmi Grow – Pinwheel powers direct deposit for institutions using Narmi Grow only (without Narmi Banking). New account holders can securely switch their primary income source as soon as they open an account, setting up direct deposit directly from the approval screen of the Narmi Grow flow. By default, Narmi Grow uses only the automated flow. If your institution would like users to complete and download the manual form within the Pinwheel flow, contact your Narmi Relationship Manager to enable this.
