Applicants have a limited amount of time to complete their applications. For web sessions, the default is 6 hours. This can be configured in Narmi Command > Configurations > Institution settings > Web Session Validity. The time is set in seconds.
For emailed links, the default is 72 hours. This can be configured in Narmi Command > Configurations > Institution settings > Email Link Validity. The time is set in seconds.
When the timeout occurs, the applicant is directed back to the first page in the Account Opening flow (the “Have you opened an account with [your FI name] before?” page) and the applicant must select I started an application but didn't finish it.
