If your institution has Narmi MCP Server enabled, consumer and business banking users can access the AI Connectors tab in Settings. This allows them to easily copy their MCP Server URL to set up MCP Server for Claude or ChatGPT. Please contact your Narmi Relationship Manager if you would like to enable Narmi MCP Server.
Once active, your institution can configure Narmi MCP Server via the following settings in Narmi Command under Configurations > Institution settings:
Use Dedicated MCP API – Set to
trueto enable the MCP Server to use the dedicated MCP API instead of the Narmi Public API.If your institution wants to use segmentation to limit which users get MCP, set this to
false. Then contact your Narmi Relationship Manager to set which segments need MCP. They will assignmodel_context_protocol_server=truefor each segment.
MCP Server Hostname – This allows the end-user to access the "AI Connectors" tab in their Narmi Banking profile Settings. Enter the MCP Server URL using https protocol. This is your financial institution's online banking URL followed by /mcp for example, https://online.aquabank.com/mcp.
End-users must have a Claude Pro subscription or ChatGPT Plus (or higher) subscription to use MCP Server. End-users must complete the steps outlined in MCP Server End-User Setup for Claude Desktop or MCP End-User Setup for ChatGPT.
