The following options are available in the Login & Security section of the More menu in the mobile app.
Unlock with Face ID/Biometrics
Starting with release 2025.1, all users must re-enroll in biometrics due to enhancements to our mobile app.
To log in to the mobile app with facial recognition or a fingerprint scanner instead of a password, select Unlock with Face ID (on iOS devices) or Unlock with biometrics (on Android devices). Our mobile app supports FaceID on Apple iPhone or iPad Pro devices, as well as TouchID on older iPhones and iPads that support it. For Android, there are several vendors with devices that offer fingerprint scanners, facial recognition, or both. Not all Android biometric methods are deemed "secure" to Google, so we require the device to have a fingerprint scanner to offer any form of biometric authentication in the mobile app.
The following conditions apply to biometric authentication in the mobile app:
If you have not set up Face ID or biometrics before, the available option is Enable biometrics on your device which takes you to the device settings. This setup varies from vendor to vendor, so please consult your device instructions for more information.
Enabling unlock with FaceID/biometrics will grant all registered users on the device access to the Digital Banking app.
The mobile app session stays active as long as you interact with the app.
Once Face ID or biometrics is set up on your device, you can turn on/off the Unlock with Face ID/biometrics toggle in the mobile app as needed.
If you have disabled FaceID or biometrics in your device settings, the menu displays "No biometric scanner available on this device."
After 5 failed login attempts, you must log in with your password and re-enroll in biometrics.
If you change or reset your password, you must log in with your new password and re-enroll in biometrics.
Manage Users (Business Banking Only)
Users with Admin permissions can invite others to their business account and grant them different levels of access through Manage Users. For more information, go to Manage Users.
Dual Approvals (Business Banking Only)
Organization Account Holders and Organization users with Admin permissions can be given permission for Dual Approvals, where two people are required to authorize wire transfers. For more information, go to Dual Approvals.
Two-factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security where a trusted device ensures that only you are accessing your account, even if someone else knows your password. For more information on this setting, go to Two-factor Authentication.
Forget This Device
Select this option to clear the saved username and turn off Face ID or biometric authentication for the mobile app. Once selected, the user is automatically logged out.
