Your staff can edit the following fields if they have the appropriate permissions: username, email, first name, last name, phone, and organization name (if applicable). These changes only affect the Narmi database and are not written to the core.

Warning: Updating user contact information is a high-risk action. Changing a user's username will update the user's credentials for logging into digital banking. Please use caution.

Permissions for Editing User Information

Permissions must be enabled by an Admin in order to edit customer and/or staff users' information.

  • Can edit personal and business user's name and other information via staff portal – To edit customer users

  • Can edit staff user's name and other information via staff portal – To edit staff users

Editing User Information

To edit user information:

  1. From Narmi Command, select Customers/Members or Staff members > Staff, depending on the user type. Then select a user's name to open their profile.

  2. On the right sidebar, select Edit.

  3.  In the dialog that appears, edit the desired fields, and select Yes, update user info.
    For consumers, you can edit the username, email, first name, last name, and phone number:
