New Message Format for the Fedwire Funds Service
To help you prepare for the Fedwire Funds Service adoption of the ISO 20022 standard, you can now download processed wire files in the ISO 20022 format directly from Wire Manager. This allows your institution to download a wire in the ISO 20022 format and validate it with your processor in preparation for switching over to the new format. Narmi will continue to send your automated files over SFTP in the existing format until your institution decides to switch over. You can use the Wire Manager to download Fedwire files for processed wire transactions. Downloading Fedwire files can be used for bookkeeping and reference, or manual processing if issues arise with automatic processing.
To do this:
From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Transactions > Wire manager V2.
Select one or more transactions by checking the box next to each transaction, and select Download file.
To select all transactions in the list, check the top box.
In the dialog that appears, select a file type, either ISO 20022 or Fedwire Application Interface Manual (FAIM), then select Download. chosen format automatically downloads to your computer.
