View and Copy Card Information

To reduce the risk of fraud or identity theft, we only display the last four digits of the user’s card number by default. Users have the option to temporarily view their complete card information, which provides a convenient way to make online purchases or add card information to other apps without having their physical card. This is particularly helpful when a user's card is still being shipped or needs replacement.

Note: Users cannot view or copy card information for locked cards.

To view the card number:

  1. On the web app, select Tools > Cards, or under the name menu, select Settings > Cards. On the mobile app, select More > Cards.

  2. On the page that appears, the user’s available cards display. On the web app, select Manage, and in the side panel that appears, select the eye icon on the card image.
On the mobile app, select a card, then select the eye icon on the card image.

If your institution has Elevated Authentication enabled for viewing card information, the next page requires identity verification by entering a two-factor authentication (2FA) code. Select a method of verification, then select Continue. Follow the prompt on the next page to enter the code that appears on the trusted device. For users who have biometrics set up on their mobile device, Elevated Authentication uses biometric verification instead of 2FA. Please contact your Narmi Relationship Manager to enable sudo mode biometrics for your institution.

If your institution wants to enable or disable Elevated Authentication for viewing card info, go to Narmi Command under Institution Settings > Features Requiring Elevated Authentication > sensitive_card_info. After a user completes the 2FA step, they remain in Elevated Authentication Mode for the length of time in seconds that is specified by Elevated Authentication Mode Duration institution setting. To ensure that a user has sufficient time to receive and enter their authentication code, the default is 60 seconds.

For more information, go to Elevated Authentication.
