Article summary

Your institution can customize the end-user communications sent from Account Opening and Digital Banking using Narmi's HTML email templates. The email templates contain placeholders for dynamic content. The placeholders are enclosed in curly braces (e.g., {applicant_first_name}, {institution_long_name}), allowing the platform to generate personalized emails by replacing these placeholders with actual data.

When editing templates, you will work with HTML code snippets. The basic components of the code are:

  1. HTML Markup – The code uses standard HTML tags like <br/> for line breaks and <a> for hyperlinks.
  2. Placeholders – The text within curly braces, for example {applicant_first_name} , are placeholders that will be dynamically replaced with specific values when the email is generated.
  3. Content – The message in the email, which can be a congratulatory message, instructions for getting started, or contact information, which is all formatted with HTML.

To access the email templates, from the Admin Platform sidebar, select Configurations > Institution Settings > Digital Banking or Digital Account Opening > Emails. Or use the Search box to search for a specific template.
