Microsoft Teams is a collaboration platform used for messaging, meetings, and file sharing. For financial institutions already in the Microsoft ecosystem, Teams is often the go-to hub for internal coordination, from compliance discussions to day-to-day operations. Its channel structure keeps conversations organized by topic or team, so nothing gets buried.
With our Teams integration, important alerts are delivered directly to your team, in the tool they already use every day. Narmi Functions powers this integration, allowing your institution to set up automated workflows that respond to events happening in Narmi One, with no servers to manage and no custom development required. When something happens that your team needs to know about, Narmi Functions can instantly post a notification to the right Teams channel.
The notifications arrive as rich, formatted cards, not just plain text. Each card includes relevant context and a direct link back to the record in Narmi Command, so staff can take action with a single click.

Why It Matters
Speed matters in financial services. Whether it's a wire that needs approval or an application waiting on a staff decision, delays have real consequences. By surfacing these moments directly in Teams, where your staff already spends their day, your institution can respond faster, reduce manual monitoring, and keep critical workflows moving without adding friction.
The integration also reduces the risk of things slipping through the cracks. Rather than relying on staff to proactively check Narmi Command, they automatically get an alert, with the context and link they need to act immediately.
What’s Possible
The Narmi-Teams integration is built around keeping the right people informed at the right moment. Here are some of the ways your institution can use it:
Wire transfer alerts – Get a Teams notification the moment a wire transfer is submitted and needs review, so staff can act quickly without monitoring a queue.
ACH transfer notifications – Alert staff when an ACH transfer is flagged for manual review, with a direct link to take action.
Account application updates – Get a Teams message when a new account application enters a state that requires staff involvement, keeping your team one step ahead.
Custom event notifications – Configure alerts for a wide range of user actions within Narmi, tailored to the workflows that matter most to your institution.

Getting Started
Setting up the Teams integration is a collaborative process between your institution and your Narmi Relationship Manager. Your Microsoft Teams administrator will need to configure an Incoming Webhook for the relevant channels—a straightforward process within Teams itself. From there, we will help you configure the integration and go live.

You can also explore the full library of Narmi Functions templates (including Teams and other integrations) in the Narmi Functions Marketplace, available in Narmi Command under Extensions > Narmi Functions.
