NeuroID is an additional product that may be bundled with Alloy to provide additional identify verification measures to further reduce fraud. NeuroID lets you see whether an applicant is interacting with your web forms the way a normal, genuine person would. This helps identify potential bot-driven fraud attacks, users operating with stolen identities, and many more cases. With NeuroID, you have the answers to questions like:
Is the applicant typing in their info or copy and pasting it?
Are they taking long pauses mid-word?
Are they filling the fields sequentially or out-of-order?
How long is it taking them to complete each field?
Are they going back and forth between the PII fields and another window?
Does the applicant’s behavior demonstrate that they are familiar with the data they’re providing, or does it imply they are looking it up as they go?
NeuroID also tracks behavioral signals to provide real-time alerting to suspicious behavior and indications of fraud (see example dashboard below):
There are two products included with NeuroID: ID Crowd Alert and ID Orchestrator.
ID Crowd Alert
ID Crowd Alert works on a macro-level to help financial institutions monitor and visualize the behavior of their entire population of applicants. This is crucial for understanding whether spikes in applications are legitimate or are the result of fraud rings or automated attacks. With the help of a simple Javascript snippet, this puts you on the right path to leveraging behavioral data to inform your decisioning.
This service monitors crowd level behavior 24/7 and alerts you to spikes in risky behavior such as bot attacks and fraud rings.
Features
Dashboard access to visuals at a crowd level with session drill down capability
Crowd level alerting for risky behavior
Lists risky session ID’s
Separate dashboard from Alloy
ID Orchestrator
ID Orchestrator works on the micro level to analyze the intent of an applicant based on how they are inputting information in an application. Backed by research, NeuroID is able to interpret a user's interaction characteristics to determine their level of familiarity with the data being entered.
Features
All ID Crowd Alert features plus:
Real-time API decisioning at the session level within the Alloy engine
Orchestrator has API with Alloy
