Socure is an AI-powered platform that provides highly accurate, real-time identity verification and predictive fraud scoring, enabling financial institutions to automate compliant customer approvals and effectively mitigate identity fraud. Narmi Grow combines Socure's industry-leading AI with the Alloy platform to deliver instant, secure decisions for new applicants.
Socure in the Narmi Grow Flow
The following steps detail how we process an application using the configured Socure-Alloy integration.
1. Customer Initiates Application
The applicant completes the initial sections of the application in Narmi Grow, providing their essential identity information: Name, Address, Date of Birth (DOB), and Social Security Number (SSN).
2. Narmi Submits Data to Alloy
Once the applicant submits their information, Narmi Grow sends the data securely to Alloy.
3. Alloy Triggers the Socure Workflow
Alloy instantly runs the application data against a pre-configured workflow of rules and services. Socure is called to perform the initial, passive identity check and fraud risk assessment. Socure performs the following actions:
KYC/KYB Check: Validates the applicant’s identity elements against multiple authoritative data sources.
Fraud Risk Assessment (Sigma Score): Applies AI/ML models to generate a highly predictive score indicating the probability of fraud.
4. Alloy Makes the Real-Time Decision
Socure returns its results and the Sigma score back to Alloy. Alloy’s rules engine then interprets this score and determines the required next action based on your configured thresholds: Approved, Rejected, or Manual Review. For Manual Review, the application moves to a document verification step using the Socure Document Verification workflow.
5. Document Verification (For Documents Requested)
If the initial score from Socure triggers the “Documents Requested” status, Narmi Grow launches the Socure Document Verification workflow.
The applicant is prompted to use their device camera to take a photo of a government-issued ID (e.g., Driver's License) and a selfie for liveness detection.
Socure's Document Verification engine instantly analyzes the ID for authenticity and verifies the user's liveness against the ID photo.
The results of this document verification are sent back to Alloy.
6. Final Decision
If the document verification is successful, the application is approved. Your institution can also configure whether you want to review the documents themselves before the application is automatically approved.
If document verification fails, the application is routed to “Manual Review” or is automatically rejected, depending on the final rules set in Alloy.
