Device and log-in notifications include emails, SMS messages, and an onscreen message. Emails and SMS messages will be automatically sent to the user whenever a login occurs from a new device. The onscreen message appears when a blocked user attempts to log in to Narmi Banking.
Emails
Your institution can configure the following emails via Narmi Command. Go to Configurations > Institution settings and search for one of the following settings:
New Device Login Approved Email Template – Sent when a user logs in from a new device.
Login Blocked Email Template – Sent when a user’s login attempt is blocked.
Login Blocked Account Locked Email Template – Sent when a user’s login attempt is blocked and their account is locked.
SMS
The following SMS messages cannot be configured:
Login allowed – Sent when a user logs in from a new device:
[FI short name] Alert: New login just detected from [state]. If this was NOT you, reset your password and call us.Login blocked – Sent when a user’s login attempt is blocked:
[FI short name] Alert: New login blocked from [state]. Reset your password and call us.Login blocked and account locked – Sent when a user’s login attempt is blocked and their account is locked:
[FI short name] Alert: New login blocked from [state]. Your account has been locked. Call us for access.
Onscreen
When a user is blocked, the following message is displayed when they attempt to log in to Narmi Banking: “This account is not eligible for digital banking. Please contact support.” This message can be configured by your institution in Narmi Command via Configurations > Institution settings > Device Monitoring Login Blocked Message.
