Managing Guides

Your staff can easily configure and manage Guides, transforming new account holders into engaged users who fully leverage your digital ecosystem. At this time, you can only create or delete guides, not edit existing guides.

Create a New Guide

To create a new guide:

  1. From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Guides.

  2. On the page that appears, complete the following sections:

    Details

    In the Details section, enter an Internal title, an External title, and an external description for your guide.

    The internal title appears only to your staff in the Guides list.

    Target

    Define the target audience for the guide by selecting one or more user segments.

    Each segment can only have a single active guide at any time. When creating a new guide, if you select a segment that's already associated with an existing guide, that segment will be reassigned to your new guide. Before finalizing this change, a warning message appears notifying you that the segment will be removed from its current guide and transferred to the one you're creating.

    Steps

    a. In the Steps section, select Add new step.

    b. In the dialog that appears, select an Action. For explanations of each action, go to Available Actions.

    c. Customize the default Title and Description if desired, and select Add.

    d. Select Add new step to add more actions.

    You can add a maximum of five steps. Once you add five steps, you’ll see a message that you’ve reached the step limit and must edit or remove a step to add a new one.

    e. After adding a step, you can select the three dots to access options to Edit step or Delete step.

    After completing all sections, select Review.

  3. A review page appears where you can review the guide configuration and how the steps appear for web and mobile. Select Edit to go back and make changes. Select Confirm to save the guide.

  4. A confirmation message appears, and your guide displays in the guides list.

Delete a Guide

To delete a guide:

  1. From the Narmi Command sidebar, select Guides.

  2. Select the guide from the list.

  3. On the top right, select the three dots > Delete guide.
